Our Mission |

is to restore a bit of our past to the City of Warwick by returning a carousel to Oakland Beach. Unlike many carousels around the country, ours is being designed and constructed entirely with volunteers — dedicated people who are engaged in activities such as drawing and carving horses and chariots, painting murals, and creating beautiful ornamentation to grace the carousel. The carousel’s building will resemble a screwpile lighthouse to complement its waterfront location. And once operating, the Oakland Beach Carousel Foundation will dedicate the carousel’s net profits to a trust, which will assist qualified community groups throughout Warwick, who are working to help make our city a great place to live.
